Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Analyst to join our Manufacturing Excellence team. This role is responsible for analyzing operational data to drive continuous improvement and optimize asset performance across steel manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will turn complex datasets into actionable insights that minimize downtime, improve productivity, and support the company’s sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze operational data and trends from digital platforms to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and track KPIs to monitor manufacturing performance and identify optimization opportunities
- Interpret large datasets using statistical tools and techniques (Python, SQL)
- Create dashboards and reports using visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions
- Support predictive maintenance and asset integrity programs
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain data systems and protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics or data science within a manufacturing environment
- Strong background in statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience with SAP, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience:
- Steel manufacturing background
- Financial acumen related to manufacturing KPIs
- Experience with asset integrity and predictive maintenance systems
