Infrastructure Engineer – Azure – IAC – Cyber Ark - Financial Services

Excellent opportunity opens for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing Financial Services environment focused on deploying and supporting technology solutions for the firm’s corporate desktop environment. The role will involve supporting the development of M365 estate and contributing to the global support of end user computing and Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be strong across Cyber Ark and Zscaler
.

Azure Infrastructure and Management

• Deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure services, including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, Application Gateways to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure cloud environments.
• Configure and optimize Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Containers, and Azure App Services to meet business requirements.

Azure Networking and Security

• Manage Azure networking components such as Virtual Network Peering, Network Security Groups.
• Maintain and manage Azure AD, including Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), to enforce identity security and access control for Azure and Microsoft 365 services.

Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Implement automated solutions using tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Power Shell for efficient provisioning, configuration management, and deployment of Azure resources.
• Develop scripts to automate the monitoring, scaling, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure to enhance efficiency and minimize manual intervention.

Monitoring and Optimization

• Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to track the health, performance, and availability of Azure resources, ensuring optimal usage and uptime.
• Implement cost management practices by optimizing Azure resources, monitoring Azure Advisor recommendations, and ensuring adherence to budgets.

Incident Management and Troubleshooting

• Own and resolve all M365 related incidents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and fix issues, including network, compute, and storage components.

Governance and Compliance

• Ensure that all Azure services adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements, maintaining audit trails for compliance purposes.

Knowledge Sharing and Training

• Contribute to maintaining a knowledge base for Azure best practices, documenting procedures, and providing training to internal teams on Azure infrastructure management.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications, and Knowledge Required

• Azure Infrastructure Expertise
  :
  Experience with Azure services VMs, VNETs, Load Balancers, and AKS.
• Networking & Security
  :
  Knowledge of Virtual Network Peering, VPN, NSGs, Azure Firewall, and security tools Azure Security Center and Sentinel.
• Identity Management
  :
  Proficiency in Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM.
• Automation & IaC
  :
  Skills in Azure Dev Ops, Terraform, Power Shell, and Azure CLI for automation.
• Monitoring & Optimization
  :
  Proficient with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost optimization practices.
• Hybrid Cloud
  :
  Experience with Azure Arc, Azure Stack, VPN, and Express Route.
• Incident Management
  :
  Strong troubleshooting skills for Azure infrastructure incidents.
• Governance & Compliance
  :
  Knowledge of Azure Policy, Blueprints, and Management Groups.
• Cloud Platform Knowledge
  :
  Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Zscaler, and Qualys.
• Soft Skills
  :
  Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Industry Certifications
  :
  Preferred certifications:
  Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Dev Ops Engineer; additional AWS/GCP certs are a plus.
