AIQ offers an exciting opportunity for a Technical Project Manager in the dynamic realm of digital technology, with a particular focus on the oil and gas sector. As a key player in our team, you will lead and navigate the intersection of cutting‑edge technology and complex project management within the energy industry, ensuring successful delivery of digital solutions that optimise operations and foster innovation.

• Develop and manage overall project implementation plans with clear milestones, ensuring alignment with project scope and objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end project implementation using Agile methodology, covering all phases from planning to execution and final reporting.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including technical evaluations, SOWs, cost/benefit analyses, risk registers, and final project reports.
• Coordinate closely with product managers, clients, and partner organisations to prioritise requirements, manage deliverables, and ensure successful outcomes.
• Organise and facilitate team meetings, agile ceremonies, and steering committees while tracking and closing actions to expedite delivery.
• Monitor execution of product development projects in the cloud with cross‑functional teams of data scientists and software engineers.
• Identify and remove obstacles, manage dependencies, and realistically estimate delivery timelines while maintaining stakeholder expectations.
• Collect and analyse team productivity data, coordinate release management, and ensure resource planning and allocation across projects.
• Manage project budgets (CAPEX and OPEX), contribute to departmental operational plans, and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and updates to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and timely manner.
• Conduct post‑project evaluations to capture lessons learned, drive continuous improvement, and support ISO‑aligned best practices.
• Propose and implement process improvements, manage internal/external audits, and ensure timely closure of audit recommendations.
• Establish governance structures, define accountabilities, and oversee vendor management to secure seamless collaboration with third‑party partners.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Petroleum, Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in customer support and operations projects in technology related projects for Oil & Gas and Energy Industry.
• PMP Certification is preferred.

• At least 12 years of overall experience, with minimum 7‑8 years in project management preferential with experience in Oil & Gas industries (ADNOC prior experience is preferred).
• Completion of at least 3 large‑scale project implementation, especially for the Oil and Gas and energy industries.
• Prior experience of handling AI and Big Data projects.
• Familiar with the industry safety and regulatory requirements.
• Expert and evangelist of multiple Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Expert user of Jira or comparable.
• Basic understanding of the cloud computing technology stack.
• Must be familiar with web‑based applications.
• Candidates who have on‑site experience (reservoir, production, drilling) will be preferred.
• Candidates who have experience with Data Management and Artificial Intelligence solutions will be preferred.
