Mule Soft Architect – Job Description
Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Mule Soft Architect to design and govern enterprise‑scale API‑led integration solutions using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform. You will define integration architecture across on‑premise and multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and performance while guiding development teams and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Define and own API‑led integration architecture (Experience, Process, System APIs).
- Design scalable, secure Mule Soft solutions across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Establish architecture standards, reusable patterns, and best practices.
- Lead API strategy, governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Provide technical leadership and design reviews for Mule Soft development teams.
- Select and implement integration patterns (sync, async, event‑driven, batch).
- Define Data Weave strategies, canonical data models, and transformations.
- Architect deployments on Cloud Hub and/or Runtime Fabric.
- Ensure performance, reliability, security, and observability of integrations.
- Define CI/CD standards and Dev Ops integration using Git, Jenkins, Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and business stakeholders on solution design.
Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years in integration development/architecture, with 5+ years on Mule Soft.
- Strong expertise in Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Exchange, Cloud Hub.
- Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, OpenAPI.
- Strong knowledge of Data Weave and Java.
- Experience with API security (OAuth2, JWT, TLS/mTLS).
- Familiarity with messaging and integration protocols (HTTP, JMS, Kafka, SFTP).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and Dev Ops practices.
- Mule Soft Certified Architect or Integration Professional.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event‑driven architectures.
- Exposure to monitoring tools (Anypoint Monitoring, Data Dog, Splunk).
