Job Description- Serve as the initial point-of-contact for troubleshooting Servers, desktops, software, network, and monitoring service availability for our customers.
- Manage backups, antivirus, installation of Microsoft patches, user and mailbox creation, password reset, and support connectivity.
- Install and troubleshoot issues related to Server Operating Systems.
- Possess excellent installation and troubleshooting knowledge on MS Windows 7, 8, 8.1 & 10 operating systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to desktop, laptops, printers, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Respond and diagnose problems through discussion with users and supervisor.
- Work closely with the L2 team in managing the Network, VMWare, and Hyper‑V infrastructure.
- Build, deploy and maintain standard Windows updates and application installation packages.
- Monitor and manage backups and antivirus.
- Monitor customer’s IT infrastructure, connectivity, and availability.
- Monitor and manage the Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Show strong troubleshooting knowledge of Outlook & O365 suites, O365 Management Portal.
- Hands‑on troubleshooting knowledge of LAN/WAN issues.
- Troubleshoot and manage CCTV, DVR & Time Attendance Machine.
- Have knowledge of biometric, access control, backups, video conferencing, etc.
- Be aware of the latest security threats and quickly respond or recommend action to IT management as threats arise.
- Provide on‑scheduled rotation, off‑hours emergency coverage for evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) & (CCNA) is mandatory.
- Basic network troubleshooting.
- General understanding of ITIL processes.
- Excellent customer service skills, including verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of Desktop and Server support experience.
- Experience providing customer support for server application software in a multi‑site enterprise.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to create and maintain positive and professional business relationships with both internal associates.
- Proven diagnostic problem‑solving and solution development capabilities required.
- Fluency in the English language.
