Introduction
The Digital Security Managing Consultant will be responsible for assessing and developing security design and implementation of digital security services for our clients in KSA. This requires demonstrating thought leadership, delivery expertise and wide understanding of cloud‑native as well as hybrid/3rd‑party security controls. The role focuses on assisting IBM clients with the transformation in Cloud Security, IAM, security for cloud, workloads, data security, network and infrastructure across private, public, hybrid and/or multi‑cloud environments on major hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure & M365, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform.

You’ll engage clients, understand their business needs, work at levels of abstraction, apply industry knowledge, and leverage the appropriate business elements and information technology to address those needs. You will advise on the desired future IAM landscape and collaborate to develop a roadmap.

• Consulting – facilitate workshops, give presentations, produce high‑quality deliverables, and manage large delivery engagements.
• Leadership – support all aspects of the solution, consult colleagues, the technical team, manage client requirements and link those to IBM’s solution.
• Create and deliver the solution element of Cloud & Data Security and IAM proposals (administrative, operational or technical).
• Support the definition and creation of a solution that meets the client’s requirements.
• Understand the Digital Security Posture of the client, including drivers and appetite, risk, legal, regulatory and compliance drivers.
• Provide visibility and understanding of the functional and non‑functional requirements of the solution.
• Assist client‑facing colleagues with responding to requests for proposals.
• Detailed knowledge of architecting and delivery of cloud‑native delivery methods and blueprints, security and deployment models for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS across one or more hyperscalers.
• Deliver using an agile approach, leveraging automation across infrastructure security via IaC.
• Work with global and local teams; help organize project approaches and teams for client delivery.
• Help resolve program issues in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Good understanding of cloud architecture and industry standards.
• Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to advance the Security Services portfolio.

• Contribute content and advice to the offering development process.
• Help establish capability and skills models for the core domain, partnering with wider team to develop expertise.

• Cloud certification in at least one hyperscaler; security specialist certifications preferred.
• One leading security certificate (CISA, CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• Experience with industry compliance and security standards including KSA NCA ECC, CSA CSM, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.
• Experience performing security architecture and configuration reviews with Zero Trust principles.
• Extensive knowledge of IAM, Data Protection, SASE, ZTNA, SWG, DLP, NGFW, IPS, DDoS, WAF, API Security, Micro‑segmentation, Email Security, Endpoint Security solutions.
• Develop high‑quality security project design documentation.
• Experience with cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), infrastructure and technology.
• Background knowledge of KSA NCA ECC and related regulations such as ISO/IEC 27018.
• Track record delivering large‑scale, complex, multi‑year security transformation programs.
• Ability to work across diverse teams facilitating solutions.
• Readiness to travel 25‑50%.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in international deployment roles and hybrid/multi‑cloud security engagements.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in security consulting and/or architecture roles.
• Minimum 12 years’ overall experience in IT and Cyber Security.
• English: fluent.

• Same as required, with additional emphasis on the listed certifications and compliance experience (identical to required list).
