IT Field Support Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Field Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients in the field. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site technical support to clients in Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
- Install and configure new hardware and software as needed
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates on client systems
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of all support activities and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in the industry
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a customer-facing environment
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and procedures is a plus
- Willingness to travel to client sites within Abu Dhabi and surrounding areas
