Synopsis:
Reporting to one of the Analytics Managers and working under the guidance of the Business Engagement Partners, the Senior Analytics Specialist should leverage advanced analytical skills and the wider analytical toolkit to analyze and visualize Etihad’s enterprise data resources. The role involves helping answer the highest value analytical questions posed by departments across Etihad Airways, developing skills and techniques for data analysis and problem solving, and staying up-to-date with industry‑leading BI capabilities.

• Work with the Analytics Manager and/or Business Engagement Partner to analyze requirements and identify or design solutions to business problems.
• Execute complex, ad‑hoc analyses utilizing Etihad’s analytical toolkit, proactively seeking further insights and root causes.
• Summarize and visualize results, highlighting likely insights for the business translator to develop.
• Maintain documentation repository of solutions, including methodology.
• Identify opportunities for automation and improvements in each analysis, recommending priorities for further development.
• Develop and maintain proficiency with advanced analytic and database tools, in‑house datasets, and other resources.
• Act as an expert and coach to the wider analytics team, developing one or more specializations in key analytical disciplines.
• Assist in development and training of Analytics Analysts Level 1 personnel to advance their understanding of the toolkit and analytical techniques.

• Diploma required (2 years or more).
• Additional qualifications in analytical disciplines and techniques an advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience if holding a Bachelor degree.
• Minimum of 7 years work experience in relevant field if holding a High School Certification or Diploma.
