Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
To manage and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, customs clearance, and material distribution, ensuring timely availability of materials and equipment for project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the movement of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Vendors, and Project teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Manage warehousing, inventory control, and stock monitoring activities.
- Handle transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import/export documentation.
- Monitor logistics costs and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and local regulations.
- Maintain logistics records and provide periodic status reports to management.
Qualifications &
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 14-18 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in EPC, construction, or renewable energy projects.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and customs regulations.
