We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crane operations and safety protocols, as well as experience in a steel manufacturing environment.

• Operate overhead cranes to move and position steel materials and products within the production facility
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the crane at all times, following all safety protocols and procedures
• Inspect and maintain the crane, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team
• Work closely with production team to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials and products
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the crane and surrounding work area
• Monitor and record inventory levels of steel materials and report any shortages or discrepancies
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise
• Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously improve skills and knowledge of crane operations and safety protocols

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years experience operating overhead cranes, preferably in a steel manufacturing environment
• Valid crane operator certification
• Strong understanding of crane operations and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Good physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
