We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Shop Operator to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of machines in our machine shop, ensuring the production of high-quality components for our clients.

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machine set up and production requirements
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances are met
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance
• Train and mentor junior machine shop operators as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve processes and optimize production efficiency

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machine shop operator, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
• Extensive knowledge of various machining techniques and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
  
  Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
• Experience with CNC machines is a plus

This is a full‑time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The contract will be for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
