Shift Supervisor (Steel Co.)

• Manage and supervise the production team on the assigned shift, ensuring that all production targets are met.
• Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, and take appropriate action to address any safety concerns.
• Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge, and provide guidance and support as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely production processes, and address any issues that may arise.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports, and provide regular updates to management on production performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new team members as needed.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork, open communication, and a strong work ethic.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in the steel manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment in the steel industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proven track record of meeting production targets and improving efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
