CNC Operator & Programmer; Wood | Royal Joinery

We are recruiting a CNC Operator Cum Programmer with Joinery (Wood) Industry Experience to join our exceptional team at Royal Joinery. This role provides support to the Projects and Production teams in all aspects of safety, occupational health, and environmental issues.

Under minimal supervision, sets up and operates CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery in a joinery factory.

• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
• Measure, mark, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or workpiece as guides for subsequent machining as necessary.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
• Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerised machine control media according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out‑of‑tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls or control media as required.
• Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications, using measuring and inspection tools as necessary.
• Set up and operate the machine on trial run to verify the accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
• Confere with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.

• Two years of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least 3 years working experience on CNC Machines BIESSE Rover B4 & B3 (2D/3D) and HOMAG in a joinery within the GCC.
• Experience operating and programming on CNC machines.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
