Job Title:

CCM Pulpit Operator – Steel Making Plant

Job Summary:

Responsible for operating and monitoring CCM (Continuous Casting Machine) pulpit activities to ensure smooth and safe steel production operations while maintaining process parameters, product quality, and plant productivity.

• Operate and monitor CCM systems as per production requirements
• Ensure process parameters are maintained as per process sheets and supervisor instructions
• Monitor HMI/CCM alarms and process trends and report abnormalities to the supervisor
• Coordinate with EAF, LF, CC control room, cranes, and other sections for smooth plant operations
• Ensure availability of consumables, tools, bins, and hopper materials required for operations
• Follow temperature and sampling frequency procedures to maintain product consistency
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies
• Respond effectively during emergency situations as per operational procedures
• Support training of new employees and assist in improving plant productivity

• Diploma / ITI qualification
• Experience in Steel Making Plant / CCM operations preferred
• Good technical knowledge of furnace and melting parameters
• Knowledge of DRI melting applications and process troubleshooting preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and data analysis skills
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong safety awareness and operational discipline
