We are searching for an honest and reliableAnimal keeper for our private client in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Give food and water to animals.
- Examine animals for signs of illness or injury.
- Exercise animals.
- Train animals to obey or behave in a specific manner.
- Cleans and disinfects cages, pens, and yards and sterilizes laboratory equipment and surgical instruments.
- Examines animals for signs of illness and treat them according to instructions.
- Transfers animals between cages.
- Adjusts controls to regulate the temperature and humidity of animals' cages.
- Records information according to instructions, such as genealogy, diet, weight, medications, and food intake.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School, is desirable, not mandatory
- 5 years experience in Zoo or similar role in pet care.
- Good Communication in English and Arabic, desirable not mandatory
- Care and passion for animals
- Experience working in the zoo taking care of primates
