Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will perform grooming services for a variety of pets—primarily dogs and cats, though other pets may be included as needed. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and positive environment while ensuring each pet’s comfort throughout the grooming process. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals are essential in delivering top‑notch service and building lasting client relationships.

• Pet Grooming Services
  : bathe, brush, trim, nail clip, and clean ears for dogs, cats, and other pets as required; style fur according to breed standards or owner preferences; observe and address any skin, coat, or health concerns during grooming sessions.
• Pet Safety & Care
  : ensure the safety and well‑being of pets throughout the grooming process, using patience and proper handling techniques, especially for anxious or difficult pets; maintain a hygienic and sanitized grooming area.
• Customer Service
  : consult with pet owners to understand their grooming needs and preferences; offer guidance on coat maintenance, hygiene, and aftercare; build positive relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business through excellent service.
• Equipment & Supplies
  : keep grooming tools and equipment clean, sterilized, and in good working order; monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of grooming supplies as needed; work closely with other staff to ensure a seamless and friendly customer experience.
• Assist in additional pet‑care tasks (e.g., check‑ins/outs, scheduling) when necessary; support a cooperative team environment, sharing knowledge and helping others as required.

• Experience: proven experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a recognized grooming course.
• Technical Knowledge: familiarity with breed‑specific grooming styles and techniques.
• Animal Handling: ability to work with different sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Communication: strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively consult with pet owners.
• Personal Qualities: patience, keen attention to detail, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
• Physical Stamina: capable of standing for extended periods, lifting pets, and performing repetitive tasks.
