HSE Officer
Conduct daily safety inspections of fabrication areas workstations equipment and work activities Ensure compliance with client HSE requirements company procedures and applicable safety regulations Conduct toolbox talks safety briefings and awareness sessions for employees and subcontractors Monitor work activities such as welding cutting grinding lifting scaffolding and material handling to ensure safe execution Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work PTW systems risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis JSA Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions Investigate incidents near misses and unsafe conditions and prepare related reports Maintain HSE records inspection reports training records and safety documentation Conduct emergency response drills and support emergency preparedness activities Monitor fire safety equipment first aid facilities and emergency arrangements Coordinate with supervisors engineers and workers to resolve safety issues Assist in preparing HSE reports statistics and performance updates Support audits and inspections by clients authorities and third-party agencies
- Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH certification is mandatory
Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas is mandatory
Knowledge of PTW systems, risk assessment, incident investigation, and HSE procedures. - Familiarity with fabrication activities such as welding, cutting, lifting operations, and workshop safety.
