Cashier (English Speaking) - Abu Dhabi, UAE
Our company is currently seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle returns and exchanges in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Ensure that all items are properly scanned and priced
- Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Previous experience as a cashier is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
- Must be comfortable using electronic payment systems
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
