• Direct and coordinate the activities of security personnel.
• Work with Department Heads to confirm staff understands security procedures.
• Organise patrolling of the property (boundary areas, bedrooms, offices, storage areas, public areas, function rooms).
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and hotel emergency procedures.
• Maintain good communication and relationships across the hotel.
• Liaise with government and law‑enforcement agencies as necessary.
• Coordinate additional personnel for conferences and banquets.
• Assist with fire‑safety legislation and conduct fire‑prevention tours.
• Investigate thefts and report to police when required.
• Implement safety and security procedures for the department and advise other departments.
• Prepare incident reports and ensure proper follow‑up.
• Educate staff on security responsibilities and conduct regular training.
• Understand and convey company terrorist and emergency procedures.
• Manage key control within all departments.

• Supervisory experience in the security industry.

• Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• First‑Aid certification.
• Fire‑fighting qualification.
• IT proficiency.
