Backend Java Engineer - JAVA (1 year contract renewable)

Salary: Up to 25k AED Tax Free p/m plus benefits

We are seeking a Senior Backend Java Developer with extensive experience in JAVA to join our innovative team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a skill in developing a broad range of applications and proprietary solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Optimize: Design, develop, and optimize backend systems using Java, with a focus on scalable and high-performance architectures.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with developers, system architects, and product managers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Technological Leadership: Contribute to architectural decisions and lead the adoption of emerging backend technologies and frameworks.
  • Report Writing: Draft detailed reports on the work performed and projects completed.
    • Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend development using Java.
  • Familiar with complex event processing and event-driven architecture.
  • Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with external and embedded databases:
    Mongo, MySQL, Postgre

    SQL.
  • Strong understanding of implementing design patterns for distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of microservices.
  • Knowledge of current frameworks, SDKs, APIs, and libraries.
  • Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like Git Lab and Docker.
  • Experience in Kafka and Elastic Search.
  • Skilled at creating database schemas that characterize and support business processes.
    • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivated and capable of independent work while thriving in team environments.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced Agile settings.
