Overview
We are seeking a motivated Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Abu Dhabi (UAE). In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, configure, and implement Quorum’s Energy Components software, with a focus on hydrocarbon management, production operations, and midstream transportation.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong technical skills, 2–5 years of experience, and previous exposure to consulting or solution delivery in the energy sector.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with customers in workshops to analyze business requirements and document processes
- Configure and implement Energy Components solutions to meet customer needs
- Provide functional and technical support across the hydrocarbon value chain, especially in production operations and transportation
- Conduct solution testing and validation against business process requirements
- Support customers during training, go-live, and post-implementation phases
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Petroleum Technology, or a related field
- 2–5 years of professional experience, preferably in consulting or solution delivery
- Solid technical foundation with knowledge of Oracle database modelling and PL / SQL programming
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in business process modelling and requirement analysis
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Self-driven, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and business practices
- Knowledge of the oil & gas value chain, with emphasis on production operations and midstream transportation
- Exposure to Energy Components or similar hydrocarbon management solutions
- Additional Technical Competencies like:
Java programming, Containers – Docker, App Server / Web Container – Wild Fly, Cloud solutions – Azure and Amazon Web Services, REST API's is a bonus - Experience with reporting / analytics tools such as Power BI is a plus
