We are seeking a highly experienced and organized Sr. Traffic & Logistics Officer to join our team at Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the transportation and logistics operations of our company, ensuring that all goods and materials are delivered to their destination in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Develop and implement transportation and logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure they are delivered on time and in good condition.
• Manage the documentation and paperwork related to transportation and logistics, including customs clearance and shipping documents.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and logistics providers.
• Analyze transportation and logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment.
• Supervise and train a team of transportation and logistics staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and government agencies.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, including customs clearance, shipping, and warehousing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations related to transportation and logistics in the United Arab Emirates.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
