The Head Chef (or skilled Sous/Senior Sous Chef) will lead the kitchen at Cricketers Row, shaping the dining experience, managing operations, and mentoring the team.

• Hire and onboard new team members inclusively.
• Lead, guide, and develop the kitchen team, ensuring access to ongoing training and growth opportunities.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety, creating a safe and organised workspace.
• Manage the kitchen schedule to ensure efficient staffing while meeting labour targets.
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure cost management and meet performance goals.
• Proactively increase sales and drive growth by fostering strong relationships between kitchen and front‑of‑house teams.

• High standard of food knowledge and skill with fresh ingredients from scratch.
• Born leader able to drive a team of hardworking, friendly, and ambitious chefs toward excellence.
• Up‑to‑date with COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, and legal knowledge.
• Willingness to develop personally while propelling the brigade forward.
