As a Roadside Recovery Driver you will support customers by safely recovering damaged vehicles, loading them onto your truck, and transporting them to repair facilities. You will be the face of The AA during 18‑hour shifts, ensuring customers get their day moving again.

On‑target earnings: £4,535 (CE licence) / £3,985 (C licence). Guaranteed minimum: £3,818 (CE) / £3,481 (C). Includes a location allowance.

Night‑only position. Depot: KT15 2QF (Addlestone). Working 18 out of 28 days with 2 weekends off. Standard shift 9 h 45 min (inc. 45 min break). Shifts may extend up to 12 h if required.

• Attend roadside recovery calls and assess vehicle condition.
• Safely load vehicles onto recovery truck.
• Transport vehicle and customer to appropriate repair garage.
• Provide outstanding customer service in all weather conditions.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and maintain recovery equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and paperwork.

• Residence within 25 miles or 1 hour travel from Addlestone depot.
• Full category C licence (HGV 2); CE licence desirable.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Adaptability to new technology.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
