Technical Support Engineer – Well Site Services (Kuwait)

We are seeking a motivated and technically proficient Technical Support Engineer to join NOV’s Well Site Services division in Kuwait. This role is open to Kuwaiti nationals only and is ideal for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to grow within the energy services sector.

The successful candidate will support both technical operations and business development initiatives, helping to strengthen NOV’s market presence across Drilling Waste Management, Thermal Treatment technologies, Solids Control equipment, and MPD solutions. This position requires strong communication and analytical skills, high technical aptitude, and a passion for engaging with customers and operational teams.

• Provide technical assistance to customers, internal teams, and field operations related to Drilling Waste Management, Solids Control, Thermal Treatment systems, and MPD technologies.
• Assist with equipment performance evaluations and product/application recommendations.
• Support tender preparation and technical proposal development by compiling data, preparing engineering notes, and aligning solutions with customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with NOV standards and customer specifications.
• Participate in equipment inspections, technical audits, and field visits as required.

• Collaborate with the business development team to identify opportunities, develop client presentations, and support commercial strategies.
• Build strong relationships with operators, drilling contractors, and service partners to enhance NOV’s visibility in the Kuwaiti market.
• Provide technical input during customer meetings, demonstrations, and workshops.
• Track market trends and customer feedback to support strategic planning.

• Assist in planning and coordinating local projects, mobilizations, and service delivery activities.
• Prepare technical reports, performance summaries, and manage KPI dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support after-sales activities, including follow-up with customers on equipment performance and service quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical, or related fields).
• Strong spoken and written English communication skills;
  Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
• Good understanding of drilling operations and fundamentals of solids control, waste management, or MPD (preferred but not required; training will be provided).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and software tools; ability to interpret technical data for analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
• Self-driven, eager to learn, and willing to engage with both technical and commercial aspects of the business.

• This position is open to Kuwaiti nationals only, in alignment with local workforce development initiatives.
• Must be willing to travel locally and internationally for training and operational support when needed.
• Valid Kuwait driving license (preferred).
