Job Summary:

We are seeking a  Property Accountant  with hands-on experience in Yardi software and a strong background in  property management accounting . The ideal candidate should have prior exposure to  US accounting processes , including  Accounts Payable ,  invoice processing , and  financial reporting  for property portfolios.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and supporting the accounting cycle for assigned properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned real estate properties.

• Record and reconcile financial transactions using  Yardi  property management software.

• Handle  Accounts Payable (AP)  process invoices, verify vendor details, and ensure timely payments.

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.

• Prepare and review property-level financial statements and supporting schedules.

• Ensure accurate coding of invoices and compliance with accounting standards.

• Collaborate with the  US accounting team  to resolve discrepancies and meet reporting deadlines.
• Assist in budget preparation, accrual entries, and variance analysis.

• Maintain documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2 - 6 years of experience  in Property Accounting, preferably supporting  US real estate  clients.

• Proficiency in  Yardi Voyager  or similar property management accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of  Accounts Payable  and  invoice processing workflows .

• Experience with  US GAAP  and month-end closing procedures.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and US based teams.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a  Real Estate / Property Management  company.

• Working knowledge of  Excel  and financial reporting tools.
