Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Design and deploy  scalable, highly available, secure, and fault-tolerant  systems on AWS for the development and test lifecycle of our cloud security product.
Focus on building  Dockerized application components  by integrating with AWS EKS.
Modify existing applications in AWS to  enhance performance .
Demonstrate  passion for solving challenging issues .
Promote  team cooperation and commitment  to achieve common goals.
Analyze data to  identify issues, draw conclusions, and solve problems .
Must-Have

Skills:

AWS Services Expertise:  EKS, App Stream, Cognito, Cloud Watch, Fargate Cluster, EC2, EBS, S3, Glacier, RDS, VPC, Route
53, ELB, IAM, Cloud Front, Cloud Formation, SQS, SES, Lambda, API Gateway.
Containerization Technologies:  Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Cluster Management:  

Experience with ECS and EKS Managed node clusters, and Fargate.
Scripting Proficiency:  Linux, Unix shell scripts, Python, Ruby, etc.
Configuration Management & Deployment Tools:  Hands-on experience with Cloud Formation, Terraform, etc.
CI/CD Tools:  Mastery of Jenkins and experience in building CI/CD pipelines.
Version Control:  Competency in Git (Git Hub, Git Lab, Bitbucket).
Cloud Vendor Dev Ops Services:  

Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.
Development Background:  Must have prior experience in software development.
Monitoring Tools:  Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
AWS IAM Policies:  Awareness of IAM policies and security guidelines.
Networking Knowledge:  Understanding of AWS network components.
Good-to-Have

Skills:

Experience in integrating  SCM, Code Quality, Code Coverage, and Testing tools  for CI/CD pipelines.
Developer background with experience in  code analysis tools  like Sonar Qube, Fortify, etc.
Strong understanding of  static code analysis .
