Position SummaryThe Staff Pharmacist assists the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of Pharmacy Operations and provides patient care tailored to each individual's needs based on patient consultations or file reviews.
What You’ll Do- Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
- Establish and develop strong working relationships with Professional Services District Manager and other stakeholders.
- Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors or Hospitals.
- Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using established workflow models, and counsel patients on sold pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Execute processes as per Walmart's best practices and SOPs.
- Operate all equipment in the pharmacy (register, computer system, etc.).
- Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times and follow provincial regulations established by the regulatory body.
- Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to (medication reviews, injections, etc.) to meet specific patient needs.
- Keep the pharmacy open and operational during posted business hours.
- Assist the Pharmacy Manager in executing the business action plan to achieve corporate business goals.
Pay range: $41.60 - $55.90/hr (based on relevant experience).

Minimum Qualifications- Age – 16 or older
- Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: – Additional Prescribing Authorization)
