Propak Systems Ltd. is an established leader in engineering, fabrication, and construction of gas compression and processing facilities for the energy industry. We are currently seeking Apprentice Pipefitters to join our Fabrication Shops in Airdrie, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
Lays out, assembles, fabricates, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs piping systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating, and other process piping systemsReads and interprets drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirementsSelects type and size of pipe requiredMeasures, cuts, and threads pipe to required dimensions using hand and power toolsTack, welds and threads joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systemInstalls supports, valves, piping, and control systemsTests system for leaks using testing equipmentCleans and maintains pipe units and fittings and flush systemsRemoves and replaces worn components and reactivates systemsListen and be receptive to instructions and work to achieve set goals, action plans and timelines for project completion.Apply knowledge and skills learned from coaches and mentors to ensure completion of the apprenticeship program.Qualifications:
