Anderson Knight are delighted to bring to market a new Finance Business Partner opportunity role with a market leading, widely recognised organisation on the outskirts of Glasgow.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making across the business. You will work closely with various departments to analyse financial performance, provide actionable insights, and drive improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled finance professional to make a real impact by helping the business achieve its financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop budgets, forecasts and financial reports that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
* Analyse financial data and performance metrics to deliver insights and actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
* Prepare financial presentations for senior management, including variance analysis and trend insights, to support informed decision-making.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted business partner and providing financial guidance to drive strategic decisions.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing reporting on financial performance against targets.
* Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiencies and drive operational excellence across the business.
* Deliver financial training and support to non-finance staff, enhancing financial literacy and understanding throughout the organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA)
* Strong understanding of management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict reporting deadlines.
* Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong commercial awareness and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-finance teams.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
