Position: Intake Team Leader- Saturday & Sunday

Join the Albert Bartlett team, where we have been champions of quality in the potato industry for over 75 years. We are looking for a proactive Intake Team Leader to lead our intake operations and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

As the Intake Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing intake of raw materials, ensuring receipt, inspection, and storage comply with our quality and safety standards. You will manage a team of intake operatives, implement best practices, and continuously improve process efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the intake team, ensuring all members are engaged and working efficiently.
  • Oversee receipt and inspection of raw materials, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
  • Implement and maintain SOPs and best practices for intake operations.
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper storage to maintain product integrity.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on quality control and safety practices.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for traceability and compliance.
  • Review performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience in an intake or warehouse environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends during peak times.
