Production Operator - NIGHT SHIFT - Description

We are currently seeking a reliable Production Operator for our night shift operations. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining our production processes during the night, ensuring that high-quality potato products are manufactured and packaged efficiently. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about contributing to the success of a leading brand, we want to hear from you!

Working hours from 8 PM to 4 AM, Sunday to Thursday, with a competitive pay rate of £12.21 per hour, plus additional allowances for night shift work.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production machinery during the night shift to ensure seamless production flow.
  • Adhere closely to safety and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of finished products before packaging.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to ensure efficiency.
  • Document relevant production metrics and report any issues to the night shift supervisor.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure timely production and problem resolution.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills relevant to the role.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role is preferable, particularly within the food industry.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and safety standards.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration within a team environment.
  • Basic mechanical skills to perform maintenance on production equipment.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to changing production requirements.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and technologies relevant to the production role.
