Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Bilingual Automotive Technical Trainer at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON. This position is hybrid and requires four days in our Ajax office.
Under the leadership of the Manager, Group Academy, this position is primarily responsible for providing technical training to all Volkswagen and Audi dealership service personnel in the application of automotive technologies and processes. This includes theoretical and hands‑on, diagnostic, maintenance and repair procedures and is delivered through a wide range of blended learning options.
Based at our Ajax Corporate Office, this position will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of the training centre, along with the accurate scheduling and maintenance of classes through the Learning Management System (LMS).
This position is also required in the review, maintenance and development of course content.
Responsibilities- Advocate for the VW and Audi Brands
- Provide technical instruction based on the Service Training curriculum for technicians
- Participate in and plan a continuous three‑month rolling Service Training schedule, including entering schedules in the LMS and closing rosters after every class
- Assist in the review, maintenance and development of curricula, specific courses and technical education methods
- Assist in the determination of core competencies, training needs and development of a training action plan for dealership staff
- Manage the Learning Center day‑to‑day operations and maintain assets such as vehicles, equipment, storage and security procedures
- College Diploma and/or equivalent work experience
- Provincial Technician’s License or Interprovincial License
- Three or more years’ experience in a technical automotive position within an OEM dealership
- Three or more years’ experience in training or teaching
- Oral and written fluency in French and English
- Logical thought process

- Self‑motivated, well‑organized, and a continuous student of automotive technology
- Personal computer skills in major office applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
