SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS :

Performing various laboratory tasks, such as preparing samples, conducting tests and experiments, recording and analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. They are responsible for ensuring that laboratory procedures and protocols are followed and that laboratory safety standards are maintained. Additionally, maintain accurate laboratory records, order and receive laboratory supplies, and assist with the development and implementation of laboratory procedures and protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Perform periodical service for all equipment in engineering and Mechanical labs.
• Supervise and help engineering and Mechanical students in their projects.
• Supply students with components and software as required for their projects.
• Prepare the equipment and software as required for practical and experimental activities.
• Maintain and repair different engineering and Mechanical lab equipment used in engineering and Mechanical labs.
• Keep and update components and equipment required in Engineering and IT labs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities as specified above.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :

• Excellent Computer skills.
• Thorough working knowledge of educational and experimental equipment in one of the CEIT specialization programs.
• Ability to communicate technical information to students.
• Familiarity with instructional and teaching methods.
• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and procedures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English and Arabic language.
