Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at a leading General Engineering Consultancy in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in civil engineering principles and practices, with a focus on delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and execution of various civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet both client specifications and regulatory requirements.

The Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, project managers, and construction personnel, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The candidate should be adept at using engineering software and tools and possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to stakeholders.

• Prepare structural designs, drawings, and technical reports
• Coordinate with architects and MEP engineers to ensure design compatibility
• Supervise and inspect site work to ensure quality and compliance
• Review shop drawings and material submittals
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant UAE experience (preferably with a consultancy)
• Proficient in civil/structural design software (AutoCAD, STAAD, ETABS, SAFE, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and local authority standards
• Excellent communication, project coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in Ajman
