Chemist Job in Ajman
We are looking for an experienced Chemist to join our team in Ajman.
This role offers a salary of 1500 plus benefits. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this position.
Job Description:
The Chemist will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and experiments to analyze the composition of substances, materials, and products. They will also be responsible for preparing reports on their findings and results, and presenting these to their supervisor or colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting laboratory experiments and tests on physical, chemical, biological samples.
- Analyzing the results of tests and experiments and determining the chemical composition of substances, materials, or products.
- Preparing reports detailing the findings of experiments and tests performed in the laboratory.
- Maintaining accurate records of test results, data analysis, and conclusions drawn from experiments conducted in the laboratory.
- Collaborating with colleagues or other departments to discuss research methods or results.
- Assisting in troubleshooting problems with current processes or procedures related to chemistry in the workplace.
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed when handling hazardous materials in the laboratory environment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field is required;
Master's degree preferred but not necessary
- At least 3 years' experience working as a Chemist in a laboratory setting
- Knowledge of scientific principles and methods used in Chemistry analysis
- Experience with laboratory equipment such as microscopes, spectrometers, etcetera
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
