Senior Network Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and certified Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot our organization's data communication networks. The role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of both on-premise and cloud-based network infrastructures.

• Design, configure, install, and support network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, VPNs).
• Monitor network performance, ensure system availability and reliability, and perform network maintenance and system upgrades.
• Provide Level 3 support, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network access controls.
• Plan and execute network infrastructure projects, including capacity planning and technology refresh cycles.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configuration details.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-6 years of hands-on experience in network administration and engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRF) and network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Strong experience with network security principles and technologies (Firewalls, NAC, IPS/IDS).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network) is highly desirable.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP, PCNSE, NSE) are strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
