Provide network administration support for CAOC’s network operations. The candidate will conduct analysis, recommend, install, configure, monitor, and operate hardware and software to continuously maintain and enhance organizational networks/domains.
Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end network system, including facility cable plant, Layer 2 and Layer 3 devices, intrusion detection system (IDS), encryption devices, modeling and simulation, configuration management.
- Perform and manage all communications security (COMSEC) activities required to operate and maintain encryption devices.
- Provide desktop/server and software application integration support.
- Manage system configuration.
- Support all circuit actions required; ensure a secure operating environment by monitoring network administration access and adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Provide technical assistance for projects involving network interoperability and integration requirements.
- Support desktop/server and software network connectivity.
- Perform and resolve problems associated with hardware and network systems.
- Maintain network monitoring and analysis tools.
Detect network problems and work with the ISM on account management. - Maintain software and firmware on network devices.
- DoDM 8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification.
- Associate’s degree in computer science or networking, or 2+ years of networking experience.
- Active Secret clearance or higher.
