Hotel Maintenance Engineer vacancy in Al-Rayyan Qatar

Our luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and facilities within the hotel, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. Your main goal will be to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

• Conduct routine inspections of hotel facilities and equipment to identify any potential issues
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance or repairs in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns in equipment
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed
• Coordinate with external contractors when necessary
• Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measures
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a hotel setting
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other relevant systems
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working in a luxury hotel is highly desirable
• Knowledge of relevant safety codes and regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
