Senior Java Developer

We are seeking expertly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developers to play a central role in building amazing digital solutions for our customers and business users. The team will be focussed on delivering a new state-of-the-art investments platform, an undertaking that is expected to take several years.

• Expert in enterprise Java development with Spring.
• Expert in REST API microservice development and event streaming with Kafka.
• Expert in persistence and caching layers, No
  
  SQL databases such as Mongo
  
  DB.
• Expert in cloud hosting and containerisation platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Expert in TDD and left-most automated testing.
• Experienced in low latency, highly performant, optimised runtimes.
• Experienced in agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle.
• Thrives with minimal supervision and naturally eager to lead and mentor others.
• Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and standards.

• We are forming new engineering capability in our Alderley Park office to deliver and maintain a new technology solution which will support our investment product offering.
