Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting under the scope of an LVN/LPN license
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, reporting changes in patient condition to the supervising RN or provider
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as directed by the care team
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support safe and effective patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN or LPN license in Louisiana or a compact state (must meet Louisiana licensure requirements)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LVN/LPN
• Telemetry experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Med Surg / Telemetry travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
