School Support Administrator - Lornshill Academy

Position:
Part‑time, term time. Salary will be pro‑rata to hours and weeks worked. If you start out with the normal school session, your first pay will be adjusted to reflect non‑entitlement to all holidays; after adjustment, you will receive a 12th of your annual salary thereafter. Payroll will notify you of any deductions.
As part of the School Support Team, you will:
- Provide an efficient, effective, and flexible administrative service.
- Provide pastoral care and support to pupils.
- Act as the first point of contact for both internal and external customers, responding to enquiries ranging from colleagues requesting advice to members of the public seeking information on council services.
- Deliver school support services to a standard that demonstrates attention to detail, good judgment, effective organisational skills and excellent team working.
- Maintain procedural knowledge of your own role and understand the work of other team members.

- This role is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG scheme or undergo an update check before a formal offer is made. If your salary is over £38,000 per annum, you must pay for the PVG application; the cost will be deducted from your first pay.
