Hygiene Operative; Day Shift

We’ve got an immediate opportunity for a reliable, hands‑on Hygiene Operative to join a leading employee‑owned food production company in Alness.

• £12.60 per hour, with overtime at £18.90 after 37.5 hours and £25.20 on Sundays
• Full‑time hours Monday to Friday, with weekend overtime
• Day shifts: 8/8.30 am – 4/4.30 pm, plus flexibility for production needs
• 30 days holiday per year after 12 weeks in post

• Keeping factory floors spotless and bins emptied
• Cleaning equipment and sanitising work surfaces
• Removing fish and other debris from the floor
• Tray washing
• Supporting wider hygiene tasks, including domestic cleaning cover during holiday periods

• Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning (desirable)
• Strong physical capability — this is a hands‑on role in a cold, wet environment
• Reliability, great work ethic and flexibility to work overtime when required
