Accountants One is partnering with a successful, stable construction company in Alpharetta to hire a Construction Accounting Specialist
!
Join a close-knit accounting team in a great in-office environment with flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices and code costs to the correct projects.
- Assist with customer billing, progress billings, pay applications, and accounts receivable.
- Support weekly payroll documentation and job-cost tracking.
- Reconcile project costs, vendor statements, and accounting records.
- Maintain subcontractor documentation and assist with project financial reporting.
- Provide general accounting and administrative support to the Controller and team.
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Construction accounting experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Quick Books, Excel, job costing, and progress billing is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
