Senior Accountant Job, Altrincham based Accountancy firm Your new firm A well-established accountancy firm based in Altrincham is seeking an Accountant to join its growing team. This firm provides a generalist accountancy services to their clients. Their clients are mostly owner-managed businesses and sit within a varied range of industries.

This is a friendly and supportive firm and will be the perfect opportunity for an experienced accounts candidate wanting a role in which they can get involved in all aspects of accountancy. This job opportunity will consider both full time and part time hours. Your new role You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to a variety of clients, including sole traders, owner-managed businesses and HNWI's.

You will be responsible for preparation of year-end accounts, VAT returns, some bookkeeping duties and corporation tax computations. You will join a tight-knit team who work together in a collaborative manner to ensure all deadlines are met and a high level of client service is provided. You will be expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, whether that be via the phone or visiting clients out on site.

What you'll need to succeed The firm is seeking an experienced general practitioner who enjoys working with OMB's. The firm is open to candidates who are part-qualified, qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE). What matters most is your ability to work accurately, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients. You will have strong attention to detail and organisational skills as well as excellent communication and client service skills.

The firm will consider full-time and part-time working hours. What you'll get in return This salary range for this role is between £28,000 - £45,000 DOE and benefits will include free onsite car parking and a holiday package increasing with length of service. You will join a well-established, friendly practice based in Altrincham that can offer a varied work load and an excellent work-life balance.
