Altrincham (5 days on-site) Salary: £55,000-£60,000  onsite parking Robert Half is partnering with a privately owned international group to recruit a Group Accountant for their Altrincham head office. The Role Reporting to the Finance Director, you will work closely with divisional leaders and senior executives, providing high-quality financial information and insight. This is a varied, hands-on role covering all areas of management accounting, reporting and financial control.

Responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts across several group businesses Working with business leaders to provide commercial insight and support decision-making Production of board packs and participation in board meetings over time End-to-end accounting responsibilities including invoice processing, bank reconciliations and reporting Preparation of VAT returns Tracking profitability by project or contract Supporting assessment of new opportunities and acquisitions Short-term cashflow forecasting Annual budgeting and forecasting with business leaders Year-end accounts preparation in conjunction with external auditors Developing and presenting KPIs to drive performance Gross profit analysis and wider ad-hoc projects as the group continues to grow About You We're looking for someone who brings energy, curiosity and a proactive mindset.
