Outbound Calling and Appointment Scheduling Assistant Remote | Candidate must resided in Houston, TX to be considered
About the Role

Our client, a technology company, is seeking a personable, dependable assistant to contact K-12 school districts across the country and introduce their recertified computer program. Your primary goal will be to connect with technology decision makers and schedule Microsoft Teams meetings for the company’s program manager. This is a phone focused role requiring consistent outbound calling, friendly communication, and organized follow up.

Success means opening conversations and setting qualified appointments; the program manager will lead the detailed sales discussions.

Responsibilities
  • You will make daily outbound calls to K-12 school districts nationwide and identify the right technology decision makers, such as technology directors, IT administrators, and purchasing contacts.
  • You will introduce the company, give a brief overview of the recertified computer program, and ask basic questions to understand each district’s interest and technology needs.
  • You will schedule Microsoft Teams meetings with the program manager, send follow up emails and meeting invitations as needed, and keep accurate records of calls, contacts, conversations, and next steps in the CRM.
  • Consistent, professional follow up with prospects is a core part of the role.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate has a clear, friendly phone presence and strong communication skills, and is comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls throughout the day.
  • You bring a persistent, positive attitude and handle unanswered calls and rejection professionally.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow through are essential.
  • You should be comfortable using email, Microsoft Teams, calendars, and basic CRM tools (Hub Spot preferred), and be able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Previous appointment setting, telemarketing, customer service, or inside sales experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with schools or technology products is helpful but not required.
What Success Looks Like

Consistent calling activity, accurate contact information, timely follow up, and qualified meetings with school district technology decision makers.
