Joining a dynamic and fast paced retail group with over 40 years of experience in the toy industry, you play a pivotal role within the finance function. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you are responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable function, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and effective cash flow management to support the business's financial health.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
  • Oversee cash application and reconciliation of customer accounts.
  • Monitor aged debt reports and implement strategies to reduce overdue balances.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing disputes and improve customer experience.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including franchisees, auditors and collection agencies when required.
  • Develop and maintain AR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

This role places a strong emphasis on team leadership and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our UK and international partners. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve queries, improve processes, and support strategic decision making across the business.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within accounts receivable.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in team management.
  • Experience working with business stakeholders and external parties.
  • Ability to manage a team and work cross-functionally.
  • Strong knowledge of AR processes, cash application, and reconciliation.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
