Wenzel’s the Bakers Shop Supervisor role

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Supervisor to manage daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver excellent customer service.

Rate: £12.71 per hour. Working week: 39 hours over 5 days (Monday to Sunday) with flexible hours available upon discussion.

As a Supervisor, you will work alongside our team preparing fresh ingredients and producing sandwiches, baguettes, and other food products, while ensuring excellent customer service and quality standards. You will be trained to our company standards and be eligible for future progression.

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience
• Receive and check daily deliveries
• Assist with managing branch stock and produce
• Maintain shop displays
• Have excellent knowledge and understanding of products
• Prepare food in line with specifications
• Ensure food and produce quality control
• Maintain the highest level of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards
• Work efficiently within a team
• Cash handling and till operation
• Open or close the shop when required
• Run shifts at various times during the week
• Drive sales and minimise wastage
• Apply experience in a retail or customer service environment at supervisory level (required)
• Experience in food production advantageous but not essential (full training provided)
