As our Roadside Rescue Mechanic, you’ll go the extra mile for our members. Anything can happen while driving, but we are the AA and we get everyone back on the road safely so the show can go on. In return, we’ll go the extra mile for you, with training, support and opportunities for development.

Base Salary: £37,152 plus £3,598 location allowance. Top performers can earn upwards of OTE £60,000.

• Communicator – diagnose and communicate effectively with customers, ensuring they feel safe.
• Self‑starter – work independently or as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers.
• Fixer/problem‑solver – use your technical expertise to resolve a range of roadside issues and recover vehicles to a garage.

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications and appropriate experience.
• Full Category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
